WALT: write a haiku
Reading group The Twitts learnt how to write a haiku poem about war. A haiku has 3 lines, the first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the last line 5 syllables again. Here are some of the haiku's we came up with.
Karen and Georgias haiku
New Zealand soldiers
Sacrificed there life for us.
We are so thankful.
Bridget and Xiao Chen
The Soldiers are dead
The Soldiers are kind for us
We will miss them lots
