Do you know what a healthy lunch looks like?

This weeks homework is to design a menu of a healthy lunch for each day of the week. You can draw pictures, take photos or cut things out from a magazine. Be creative!

Your first homework task is to find a family photo to bring in to display in our room. This photo will be stapled to our wall for the year so please make a copy of the photo or email it to l.dower@howickprimary.school.nz.

You will need to write a little about your immediate family:

What is everyone’s name?

Where were you born?

Where did you grow up?

What is your favourite thing to do as a family?

What makes your culture special?

Draw a picture of your country flag

Lastly can you include anything else that makes you special? What makes you who you are?

If you have something from your family culture that you would like to share, please bring it into class on Friday 13th February.
