Experiment: What will happen when you add a gummy lolly to different substances?


Task: Make a hypothesis about what will happen in each of the eight containers.

    1) tap water = shrink
    2)salt water= shrink
    3)sugar water = grow
    4)cold coffee= stay the same
    5)sugar lolly tap water= shrink take sugar off
    6) sugar lolly salt water= grow
    7) sugar lolly sugar water= grow

    I think tap water will soke into the lolly, and the lolly will shrink.
    I think the salt water will do nothing.
